After regretfully not being able to take place last year, Willows Activity farm's Santa Spectacular is back with a bang for 2021. 

We have visited Santa Spectacular every year since 2014 and have watched the experience grow over the years. 

Now a visit to Santa Spectacular at Willows Activity Farm is not going to come cheap, it will leave you with a hefty chunk of cash missing from your purse with tickets costing up to £51 a child and £29 a adult for the experience. Now before you stop reading, I do appreciate this is one of the more costly expereinces on offer, but its important to remember that this is a full on festive day out and not just a santas grotto (if you just want a quick in and out visit to see Santa chose somewhere else) and you actually get quite a lot included in your admission ticket. We have copied the schedule below for you to have a look at.

To give you a brief over view your admission ticket as well as all the usuals on offer Santa spectacular includes, create-a-cuddle (similar to build-a-bear) the children get to create a fluffy friend to take home with them,

"No-ice" ice skating is also included and I love that my children are now of the age that they can skate by themselves whilst i wave cheerily (whilst drinking a coffee on the sidelines) as they go past .

Gingerbread decorating and santa letter writing (plus crafts are also included) a letter back from santa is also included in your admission, festive shows (more on this below) , a special elf passport, reindeer trail, festive tractor ride and of course best of all a visit to Santa himself. You will travel through some beautiful scenes before being invited in to meet Santa in your family group, the children receive a special key to santas toy shop and are then able to pick up any toy they would like from the toy shop (and there are hundreds of toys- floor to ceiling!). Thats obviously not including all the usual amazing things willows have to offer like the fairground rides (some have had a festive make over), the animals, the playgrounds and so much more.

So whats new for this year that we love?

We absolutely adore the new shows! The polar bear show is really rather magical and actually i may have had to wipe a little tear away as the snow fell. The Lapland chef show and the Santas nice list show are hugely entertaining. Make sure to catch as many of the shows as you can as they are a real Willows highlight at Christmas. 

The festive 3D film is the same film as last year which is a shame but the kids didn't seem to mind at all. My kids also love the snowball shoot out and meeting the Reindeer and Mischka the Malamute. 

I do feel that once taking into consideration all willows has to offer this festive period and the fact that you could easily spend the entire day there it actually works out as rather good value for money. The fake snow, decorations and festive attire of the staff really does help you to feel like you have stepping into a wonderful winter wonderland.
