If you’re in charge of making sure the mum in your life has a really special day, but haven’t sorted anything, then don’t worry, I’m here to help!

Mother's Day Constellation Workshop at Make Space, Hitchin
Sun 8th March 2026 2pm – 4pm
Join us for an afternoon at Make Space, Hitchin, where Lauren from Leo & Luna will teach you how to paint the Ursa Major constellation. Also known as the Plough, Ursa Major's mythology is rooted in maternal love and protection, making it the perfect way to celebrate Mother's Day.
What you'll get:
- Your own hand-painted Ursa Major constellation to take home
- Detailed History Note explaining the mythology behind the constellation

Emergency Services Open Day on Hitchin Market Place
Sat 14th March 2026 12 - 3pm
Hitchin Neighbourhood Policing Team will be holding a Community Engagement Session as detailed below.
We will be holding an Emergency Services Day in Hitchin Market Place. You may remember that we held this event last year, so we are back again! There will be emergency vehicles parked on the square for everyone to come down and have look inside, as well as different stalls from all the agencies who are joining us. There will be police, fire, ambulance, and charities such as Age UK and Hertfordshire Mind Network who will all have their own stalls for you to engage with. There will also hopefully be some ex-service classic vehicles as well as normal classic vehicles that should be joining us on the day.

Yoga & Gong - an afternoon for Mothers at The Oak House Studio, Old Hatfield

The perfect Mothers Day treat - for yourself, your Mother, or someone else.
