Spring is such a lovely time of year, and there's nothing lovelier than all the adorable lambs at our local farms. It's a great experience for kids to see, meet and sometimes even bottle feed the lambs.
So here's a rundown of lots of local places you can meet newborn lambs...you might even get to see some being born!

Lamb Bottle Feeding at Church Farm, Ardeley

Join us for lamb bottle feeding this spring. This is a unique and memorable experience for people of all ages. Commencing from February Half Term 2026.
A total of six people can bottle feed the lambs per session (each has a separate lamb). The price includes Lamb Bottle Feeding for one person only (young children must have one accompanying adult in the pen to help them), please remember to book Farm Day passes for all farm visitors (under two's are free). Farm Day passes include access to the farm, the farm trail and activity book, plus the woodland play area.
What's included:
You will get to bottle feed one of our hand reared lambs.
A spacious enclosure where you can sit and spend time feeding and getting to know the lambs.
Ask the farmer any questions about our lambs and sheep.
A certificate to say you have bottle fed one of our lambs.

Step into our Baby Barn and meet our adorable spring lambs for an up-close, hands-on experience you won't forget. This intimate session lasts approximately 25 minutes and includes:
Close-up time with our lambs - the perfect chance to snap some gorgeous photos
Bottle-feed our lambs - Feed our beautiful spring babies
Question time with our friendly animal keeper - learn all about lambs and life on the farm
All-day admission to the farm and bird of prey centre included
Sessions run in small groups of just 8 guests, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the experience

Watch our new-born lambs take their very first steps in our undercover Lambing Barn and keep an eye out on our expectant ewes as you may even be lucky enough to see a little lamb being born.
Plus, enjoy all our indoor and outdoor play, plus daily animal activities.

Come and watch the smallest members of our flock start to arrive at Willows, supervised by Tuck the Shepherd - we can't wait to welcome 'ewe'. During our February Frolics half term event there'll be live lambing, newborn lamb bottle feeding demonstrations and a full day's programme of fleecy fun for a baa-rilliant day out. Visit the Lambing Pens to meet the shepherd and learn about lambing throughout the day. You can also enjoy hands-on fun with Mad Science - watch explosive shows and visit their science stations.
