What's On: Exciting Events for Children, Families and Adults

We have a fantastic lineup of events and activities that cater to all ages.

Here's a sneak peek at our regular events:

  • Baby Rhyme Time: Join us every Monday at 10:15 or 11:15 for rhyme time. These fun, half hour sessions of songs and rhymes are perfect for helping your child to learn language skills and are a great opportunity for you to meet other families too. Baby Rhyme Time is free though donations are welcomed and no booking is required. For the comfort and safety of all families, we do limit numbers so entry to a session cannot be guaranteed
  • Storytime: Join us every Friday from 10:30 to 11:00 for Storytime. Perfect for toddlers and preschoolers, these sessions feature engaging stories and rhymes. Storytime is free to attend though donations are welcomed and no booking is required.
  • Saturday Storytime: First Saturday of each month, 10:30-11:00. Saturday Storytime is free to attend though donations are welcomed and no booking is required.
  • LEGO Club: Twice a month on Monday from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. Suitable for children aged 5 - 12. £4.40 per session, per child. Places are limited and must be booked in the library.
  • Pic-n-Mix: Letchworth Library's friendly adult social group meets once a month, usually on the first Wednesday. Each meeting has a theme or a guest speaker. Refreshments are served, and chatting is actively encouraged! There is no need to book, no charge to come along and no long-term commitment.
  • Create and Chat: Join our crafting group for adults, held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon. Bring along your crafting project and share ideas over refreshments. We can also help you learn something new. It's a FREE drop-in, with no long-term commitment. Donations are always gratefully received.
  • Your Space: A social inclusion group for adults. Drop in every Friday from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon for a fun and relaxing time. Play board games, work on puzzles, or simply enjoy a cuppa. No charge and no need to book—just come along and join the fun.
