Places to stay cool this summer

So where are the best places to stay cool this summer?

I asked the Mums guide to Hitchin social media followers and here are their, and my own, top tips.

I’ll continue to add to this article so please do let me know of more here.

Air conditioned retreats:

Mama Baby Play indoor play café, Hitchin

Little Rascals indoor soft play and café, Hitchin

The Angels pub, Hitchin (which also has soft play!)

Waitrose - hang out in the freezer section or the café- the choice is yours!

Cinemas - catch a film and keep super cool

David's Café in Letchworth

Sensory Magic in Biggleswade

AmazeBalls play café in Baldock (new!)

360 Play indoor soft play in Stevenage

The Riverside Hub soft play in Northampton

Keeping cool:

Woods - lots listed on the website in the Out & About section, but particular shady favourites are Hitch Woods, Chicksands and Rowney Warren

Splash parks- with so many great local splash parks, we really are spoilt for choice. Bancroft in Hitchin and Howard Gardens in Letchworth are our closest locally.

Lidos - we’re fortunate to have outdoor pools in both Hitchin and Letchworth- an ideal way to stay cool.

Joeys Brunch was nice and cool when I was there recently.

If you have any more to add to the list, please let me know.
