The schoolhouse has now been adopted for educational purposes and is used mainly for offices, the library and additional teaching areas. There are strong links with the church since we are a voluntary controlled school. Reverend Pauline, who is Priest in Charge of the local five parishes and is a regular visitor to the school - taking weekly assemblies in the church on a Monday morning.

The Pines Preschool is a friendly, non-profit making organisation, part of the Hertford Community Church Trust. We meet in the Pinehurst Community Centre every morning from Monday to Friday, during term time, from 9.30am - 12.30pm (Tue & Wed lunch club until 1.30pm) Children can start at approx age 2 year 6 months, and stay until they go into Reception.
