There are cash prizes for the best poems, the best sonnet, and the best poem by a resident of Hertfordshire or Essex, as well as the chance to have your poem published.

Whether you're a seasoned poet or feel inspired to write your first poem, the competition is open to everyone (age 16 and over). Poems can be on any subject. They must be in English, be your own original work and no longer than 50 lines.

Join us for lamb bottle feeding this spring. This is a unique and memorable experience for people of all ages.

Commencing from February Half Term 2026.

A total of six people can bottle feed the lambs per session (each has a separate lamb). The price includes Lamb Bottle Feeding for one person only (young children must have one accompanying adult in the pen to help them), please remember to book Farm Day passes for all farm visitors (under two's are free). Looking for a fun outdoor activity in the woods with family and friends? Brickendon Disc Golf is open at the weekend from Saturday 14 March at Celtic Harmony Camp.
The aim is to throw your disc into the basket, just as you would hit a ball into the hole on a golf course! A 9-hole round will take about one hour to complete, with the person taking the least shots winning. It's easy to learn and great for fitness, making Disc Golf the perfect activity for a day out with family and friends.

Creative Marbling Techniques - Join us for a new workshop with Anna from Marbling Magpie.

You will spend two hours learning all about marbling on paper from expert marbler Anna. This will include practical demonstrations of various marbling techniques and then practise of at least 4 different patterns using tools such as combs and sticks, in a great variety of colours. A fantastic and fun cycling skills development course for 5-6 year olds designed to improve young riders' bike handling skills and build confidence.

Our Go-Ride Schools are held over two consecutive mornings from 9am-11am. Designed to encourage younger children who are able to ride but not yet super-confident on their bikes to develop new skills and explore different aspects of riding.

Come and join us for our termly and super fun Family Yoga Workshop - parents and children aged from 4 y/o all welcome. We spend an hour exploring yoga movement, breathwork and enjoy a relaxation at the end, not forgetting flapjacks and a chance to chat!

Drop the kids off for a two-day journey of wild discovery! Our Adventure Camp is a child-only experience designed specifically for children aged 8 to 11. Led by our expert team, this immersive programme helps young adventurers build confidence, learn ancient skills, and make new friends.

For your convenience, children can be dropped off from 9:00 am, with the latest collection time of 5:00 pm, providing extra flexibility for working parents. The core activities run from 09:30am to 04:30pm. The event is £59 for two days. We do not offer single day bookings.
