A message from North Herts DC...
With temperatures set to rise once again next week, North Herts DC is asking residents to please place their bins out the night before they’re due for collection, as our crews will be starting their rounds earlier to try and beat the heat.
We hope that this means that all rounds will be completed on their scheduled day. However, if your collection is affected, please leave your bin out until the crews have been able to catch up.
The health and safety of our collection teams is of the utmost importance, and as such our contractor Veolia have introduced new lightweight trousers for our teams’ comfort, encourage plenty of water breaks as well as the early starts during the hot weather, so providing the best wellbeing support for our crews.
