Join The Summer Reading Challenge at Hitchin Library
Join us for the 2026 Summer Reading Challenge, Read to the Beat, bringing together the power of reading and music. We are inviting all children to turn the page and turn up the volume!
The challenge begins at all Hertfordshire Libraries on Saturday 4 July and continues until Saturday 5 September. Read books, complete challenges and earn themed rewards. If you finish the challenge, you will also be entered into our prize draw to win a ticket to our exclusive workshop with author, Gareth P. Jones.
Starting 4th July, FREE for any library member!
The Summer Reading Challenge is free; you just need to be a member of Hertfordshire Libraries to take part. We cannot wait to help Hertfordshire children find their reading rhythm this summer!
