Farmers on Christmas Lights Tour - Baldock, Letchworth and Hitchin

The tractors are coming this Sunday 21st December 2025. The Farmers on Christmas Lights Tour is back for another year in aid of Garden House Hospice Care, bringing wonderful festive cheer tractor-style just a few days before Christmas. The convoy of tractors and farm vehicles will be draped in flashing lights, snowmen, snowflakes and Christmas trees - it truly is a spectacle and a wonderful community event for all the family.
6pm - Baldock
6.45pm - Letchworth
7.30pm - Hitchin
The aim is to raise £50,000 in donations for @garden_house_hospice_care, which will pay for one week of care for all patients on the Inpatient Unit over the festive season, including the cost of nursing and doctors, and running costs like water and keeping the unit clean. Every pound raised really will make a difference.

12 Joys of Christmas Trail at Jordans Mill

Step into the magic of the season with our Christmas Children's Trail. Take a festive stroll around our Mill, Shop and Gardens and see if you can spot the 12 Joys of Christmas along the way. Count how many of each you can find, fill in their names on your activity sheet and hand it back in at the end for a prize!

Our dedicated team will once again turn our Collection & Garden into an illuminated experience that shows off Shuttleworth in a whole new light (see what we did there?) Produced entirely in-house, our trail lets you explore Swiss Garden's quirky features aglow in vibrant colours, with some fun interactive elements and photo-worthy moments. In the Collection hangars our iconic aircraft, vehicles and machines will be bathed in light, adding to the awesome revere these fantastic machines inspire. For a unique twist on a winter light trail look no further.

Shaun the Sheep: Find the Flock at Wrest Park, Silsoe

Herd your family together for a baaa-rilliant Christmas trail at Wrest Park this festive season. Grab a trail map and track down twelve super-sized sculptures of Shaun the Sheep designed by different artists. The trail runs from Wednesday-Sunday. On weekends until 23 December, you can also get hands-on with Christmas crafts and toast marshmallows around the fire once ewe've found the flock. Fleece Navidad!

Anne & Paul's Lunatic Christmas Lights, Biggleswade

Legendary local light display, all from the comfort of Anne and Paul's own garden. Open from 1st to 24th December 2025, 5pm to 7.30pm each day. Donations for Sue Ryder hospice in Moggerhanger will be taken at the entrance and as always, they will be running their legendary raffle! Last year they raised £9,134 - can you help them beat that this year!

Tewinbury Farm Woodland Light Trail
Thurs 27th November 2025 - Tues 30th December 2025
This winter, the Tewinbury Woodland Light Trail returns, now four times longer then last year and more spectacular than before. Beginning at the main farmhouse, the illuminated path winds through the Stable Garden, into Rectory Woods and across open fields, looping back into Westley Wood and the meadow, before finishing at the new Farmyard by the river where our Après Ski Bar awaits.
Follow the glowing trail and discover moments of wonder along the way. Step through a glittering tunnel of lights, pause beneath starlit groves, wander into enchanted forests and find yourself in glowing fields alive with colour and sound. Interactive installations, playful projections and unexpected pauses for music and dance transform the walk into a festive journey for all ages.
There will be no Santa's grotto this year, but families can still share magical moments in our cosy storytime tent where Santa will be reading festive tales. Children can also make their own reindeer food to sprinkle on Christmas Eve, there'll be an area to create and post their letters to Santa, and enchanting creatures to spot hidden all along the trail.

For Christmas 2025 at Wimpole, we invite you to experience a new after-dark Illuminations trail that brings the estate to life with over a million twinkling lights and seasonal sounds. Stockwood Illuminated Trail 2025 at Stockwood Discovery Centre, Luton

This December, we invite you to join us for our winter light celebration set against the backdrop of the beautiful gardens at Stockwood Discovery Centre. This year we are doubling the light train from 500 metres to almost one kilometre, with over 20 light installations, making this the biggest light trail in Bedfordshire! Discover Stockwood like you've never seen it before, as you weave your way on a self-guided tour through the illuminated pathways, set against the backdrop of the lush greenery.

Step into the festive spirit with the St Albans Christmas Bauble Trail! From 15 to 28 December, explore the city centre and discover 12 colourful Christmas baubles hidden in the shopfronts. Pick up a trail map from the St Albans Museum + Gallery (open daily 10am - 4pm, closed 24, 25 and 26 December) and set off on a magical hunt or view/print an online version here. Each bauble reveals a special letter - find them all to spell out a merry Christmas phrase!

Join us this winter to explore our Fulfen Forest as it is brought to life with lights and enchantment; stroll through the forest and experience some festive magic under our beautiful canopy of trees! During your experience, we can also enjoy delicious marshmallow toasting or a warm cup of mulled wine, so why not gather around the fire and get into the Christmas spirit! 🔥 🍷 (additional charge applies). This experience is perfect for friends or couples who don't wish to come on the train and visit Father Christmas but would love to enjoy some Christmas magic! Forestlight will be running from the 22nd November until the 23rd December from 4pm-6:40pm, with the site closing at 8pm.
