Hylands House opens its doors FREE OF CHARGE. The Farmers’ & Craft Market is located both outside the front of Hylands House and inside the Grand Pavilion. The market is a treasure trove of fresh, local food, drink, and crafts direct from the producers and makers. Christmas wreaths, macramé, mulled wine and sweet treats are just some of the delights you’ll find. Oh and Santa will be popping in too!

Chelmsford Christmas Market
Chelmsford Cathedral: 4th December 9.30am - 5.30pm
Christmas Market in partnership with Chelmsford Cathedral, Ideas Hub and Pop Up Club.
This FREE festive shopping event takes place Saturday 4 December in Chelmsford Cathedral (9.30am – 3pm) and along Chelmsford High Street (9am – 5.30pm).
The market is spread throughout the city in three main locations, see below, and there is free park and ride service after midday. It will be an event not to be missed with over 40 local exhibitors offering a selection of arts and crafts, decorations, candles, confectionery, jewellery, pottery, cards and more. Take the opportunity to support local independents and buy unique hand-made gifts this Christmas. In addition to the Christmas gifts on offer there will also be festive food available, a Father Christmas Grotto in the Cathedral and entertainment from Salvation Army Brass Band, choirs, Chelmer Radio and Farleigh Hospice.

Harrow Lodge Park (next to the sports centre): 28th November - 
Returning for 2021, local mental health charity Havering Mind presents a unique and magical Christmas attraction for the local area - Havering Christmas Land!
It features: the historic Harrow Lodge House building lit up with stunning lights, a spectacular Christmas lights walk way in the ‘secret garden’ next door to the building
with 000s of lights, decorations and Christmas scenes, a beautiful Santa’s grotto, food/refreshments/mulled wine & German beer served nightly.
Entry into the walk is £3pp. Babies under 2 go free. There are no concessions. All money raised going to Havering Mind to help them to support more people.
There is also an opportunity to book to see Santa as well!
