Romford's Citizen Advice Bureau is located on the first floor of Romford Central Library, St Edwards Way, Romford RM1 3AR. This office is for prebooked appointments only. These are made by seeing an assessor at one of our open door advice drop-ins.
It's information, guidance, advice and in-depth support service helps people resolve many issues that impact on their lives, health and well-being. The service is free, impartial, independent and confidential. You can get advice on debt, housing, homelessness, immigration, family, employment, consumer, general advice, benefits and universal credit.

You will find frequent services to London and beyond from Romford Station. Romford is located in Zone 6 of the TfL fare zones. There is a ramp at a side entrance and to each platform for pushchairs and wheelchairs although tickets are only available at the main entrance. There are public toilets on Platform 4 however there are no baby change facilities.
Havering Household Waste - If you are unsure when your waste will be collected, click here to check. A roll of 16 orange recycling sacks will be delivered to each home every 13 weeks however if you need more you can collect a roll of bags at any library, at the Town Hall or at Mercury House. The main Reuse & Recycle Centre for Havering is at Gerpins Lane, Upminster, RM14 2XR. Full details of opening times can be found here.
Romford Market is open for business every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and often hosts seasonal special events - we will keep you updated with these in our 'What's On' guide.
Romford Police Station is located at 19 Main Rd, Romford RM1 3BJ. It has a front desk facility which is open 24/7 should you need to make an enquiry. Calling 101 will automatically connect you to the local police force and can be used for general enquiries, concerns that do not require an emergency response and passing on information.

Romford Samaritans - if you need to speak to someone you can contact the Samaritans on 116 123 which is free from any phone.
