There are 10 libraries in and around Romford free for all to use. The main library, Romford Central Library, is in the heart of the town centre. There is a large children's section where you can sit and read with your child and an interactive play table with fun educational games. There is a disabled toilet with baby change (ask the helpful library staff for access, they have been known to allow the odd dancing foot to foot child to use this facility!)

Thursday 10am-8pm
Friday 9am-5pm
Saturday 10am-4pm
On Tuesdays and Thursdays the library building is open from 9am although there will be no library staff on duty until 10am. Readers can use the self service machines to issue and return books during this time.
