Bedfords Park - always busy as the parking is free
Hainault Forest Country Park - lots to explore, perfect for kite flying if the weather is suitable. Please note the farm remains closed at this time.
Hylands House - This is a stunning venue in Chelmsford and the Adventure Play Park is great fun.
Grays Beach Riverside Park - can get very busy if the weather is good!
The Secret Carnival Family Trail - this is running in and around Romford town centre and is totally free. Just a smartphone needed!

Beaches
We have a great selection of beaches not too far from Romford if the weather is nice. Take a look here. Unfortunately we have been unable to find any beach huts available to hire this weekend.

We have a list of venues that have outside seating available. We have not personally checked each business for an opening date so please do check before you decide to visit. Some of the smaller venues will have very limited outside seating. For pubs and restaurants it is advisable to try and book a table in advance.
