A press release from North Herts District Council...
This week saw the opening of the new swimming pool changing village at North Herts Leisure Centre, following works carried out as part of the decarbonisation project.
The changes include:
- inclusive change village for all with individual and family changing cubicles
- refurbished toilets and accessible toilet
- new showers - poolside and in the changing village
Visitors can once again access the swimming pool through the main reception and new change village entrance, making visits easier for families and swimmers of all ages.
Other improvements include:
- new interactive flume with LED lighting - popular with younger visitors!
- improved insulation in the sports hall
- new glazing in the main pool area
- redesigned reception and café areas, with new seating in the café
