Remember, remember the 5th of November…or somewhere around that date as it falls on a Thursday this year, so lucky us, there are lots of fireworks events spread out!
This guide details all the fireworks displays I've come across locally in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, plus some larger displays beyond that may be worth travelling to.
Many displays won't have tickets available on the night, so do check details if you need to pre book.
It's also worth bearing in mind that many displays now ban sparklers.
Some events provide parking, but many do not, so please do check in advance.
And finally, don't forget to check full details on events, as things can always change and my information may not always be fully up to date. Please don't travel without checking.

Stotfold Football Club Firework Display
Thu 5th November 2026 - Ground opens 5:30, fireworks 7:30pm
Come along to the JSJ Stadium and enjoy the evening with us for our annual Fireworks Display.
We have a bigger and better Firework display this year.
We have an indoor and outdoor bar, and numerous food stalls for you to enjoy!
Doors open at 5:30pm - Display starts 7:30pm.
Tickets can be purchased from the Clubhouse as well as online. Please have tickets ready on the night to make entrance smoother.
Off - road parking onsite, plus Pix Brook Academy car park will be available. Please check our social media for regular updates.
No dogs and no sparklers are allowed in the Stadium.

Stevenage's Annual Firework Display returns this November and, as the town celebrates Stevenage 80, this year's event is another opportunity for residents, families and friends to come together and celebrate our town.

There will be a variety of hot food and refreshment vendors available throughout the evening – perfect for keeping warm on a chilly November night.
The firework display will begin at 7:30pm sharp, so please arrive in plenty of time to find a good viewing spot.
Funded and organised by Stevenage Borough Council, the annual display always attracts large crowds. Visitors are encouraged to walk or use public transport wherever possible.
Parking
If you do need to drive, parking will be available at the South Field Car Park (opposite Stevenage FC stadium) and in Stevenage town centre car parks.
Please avoid parking on residential streets and be considerate of local residents when travelling to and from the event.

Katherine Warington Association of Friends announces annual Low Bang Fireworks Night
Harpenden - September 2026: Families across Harpenden and the surrounding area are invited to join Katherine Warington Association of Friends (KWAF) for its annual Low Bang Fireworks Night at Katherine Warington School on Friday 6 November 2026.
The popular community event will open its doors at 6pm, with the fireworks starting at 7pm, and promises an evening of family entertainment including music, a BBQ, bar, hot drinks, tuck shop, mulled wine and a games area.
The event is organised by KWAF, the PTA of Katherine Warington School, with all funds raised going directly towards providing additional opportunities, experiences and extras for students.
KWAF are really looking forward to bringing everyone together for another fantastic fireworks night. It's one of the highlights of the KWAF calendar and, importantly, it helps to raise funds that go straight back into enriching opportunities and experiences for the children at Katherine Warington school.

Our legendary Fireworks & Drone Festival returns on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November 2026.
This year, we're introducing a new weekend format: Saturday brings the full festival atmosphere, while Sunday offers an earlier, family-focused experience with more space to enjoy the event together.
On Saturday 7 November, expect a spectacular night out featuring a headline outdoor DJ set from Eats Everything, London's largest German Bier Festival with a Queen tribute band, funfair rides, street food and more.
On Sunday 8 November, families can enjoy an earlier display alongside a jungle kids' rave, a karaoke singalong with Shaun Williamson aka Barry from Eastenders and a packed programme of entertainment for all ages.
Across both days, enjoy the festival favourites that make Ally Pally's Bonfire Night celebrations famous: a giant bonfire, marshmallow toasting, ice skating, funfair rides, and a spectacular fireworks and drone show set against London's iconic skyline.

Leysbrook is delighted to be back hosting ticket sales for the Baldock Community Fireworks for 2026 and are delighted to be partnering with Hartsfield School again to deliver this fun-filled, family celebration event! As always, there will be plenty of entertainment, stalls, food vans, fairground rides and more - come and join us!
Tickets are £8 each (£10 on the door); doors open at 4pm. This is the third year in a row that we have frozen ticket prices despite rising costs and we are proud to bring this community event to everyone in Baldock and beyond.
