If Autumn or Halloween is not complete for you without sticking on your wellies and stomping through a field to pick the perfect pumpkin, then here's where you can find them and have some family fun along the way!

For your traditional pumpkin patch where you can wonder around a field and choose your perfect specimen...

🎃 The Pop Up Farm can be found just down the road near J9 of the M1 and is open 4th, 5th, 11th & 12th October then 18th - 31st October. 

🎃 Standalone Farm in Letchworth is running a pumpkin patch again this year.  Open 11th to 31st October.

🎃 NEW for this year, we've got details of a pumpkin patch that will be open at Tewinbury Farm from 29th October - 1st November.

🎃 Keep an eye on their Facebook page for details of openings at Rumblers Farm Shop in Hemel Hempstead.  

🎃 Another option is The Secret Farm  near Bedford, open 4th, 5th, 11th, 12th, 18th & 19th October, then 25th - 31st October.  

🎃 Now that the lavender season is over Hitchin Lavender have a Pumpkin Patch, open 18th - 31st October.

🎃 For something a bit different you can pick your pumpkins in amongst the goats at Herrings Green Activity Farm on 25th, 26th and 29th - 31st October.

🎃 Grove Farm, near Ivinghoe is a PYO fruit and vegetable farm and have pumpkins in September and October.  Check their website for what's currently available and opening times.

🎃 A bit further afield, but another one to keep any on to see if they have a pumpkin field this year is Pearce's Farm Shop in Buntingford.

🎃 Freaky FunFest at Mean Open Farm, 25th October - 2nd November.

🎃 Spook-Fest at Aldenham Country Park,  11th October - 2nd November - Note that you need to purchase a separate ticket for pumpkin picking.

🎃 Halloween Pumpkin Patch and Kids Crafts at British Schools Museum - 25th - 31st October (closed Monday 27th) - This is an indoor "pumpkin patch".

🎃 Halloween SpookFest at Church Farm, Ardley, 18th - 31st October.

🎃 Centre of Hocus Pocus at Herrings Green Activity Farm, 25th October - 2nd November.

🎃 Halloween Festival at Lee Valley Adventure Animal Park, 25th - 31st October - The pumpkin patch is an optional extra (additional charge).

🎃 Pumpkin Festival at Odds Farm Park, 4 & 5th, 11th & 12th, 18th & 19th, 25th October - 2nd November.
