I was the chair, then the CEO, of the European Piano Teachers' Association (UK) and was a principal inspector of schools and colleges. I am a very experienced piano teacher and teach and mentor other piano teachers. I offer friendly and relaxed lessons for students of all ages. I also teach theory, aural skills, musicianship and history of music. Each student has an individual programme of learning. I teach both adults and young people from beginner to grade 8 and teaching diplomas. Nearly all my students gain merits and distinctions in ABRSM exams. I teach face-to-face, via Zoom or a hybrid of both.

The club was originally set up to provide an opportunity for children who would not otherwise play organised football. This ethos of "Football for All" is still a central pillar of our club. Harpenden are a small but effective club, and importantly every member counts. Our target is to develop each individual swimmer to their optimum, to equip them with all the skills to achieve this and build up a strong competitive team with strength in depth. Swimmers are taught to set targets, achieve them and develop into thoroughly rounded swimmers able to do all events. Mons 7pm-9pm at Aldwickbury and Mons & Thurs 6.30-9.30pm at STAHS.
