PQA is a weekend performing arts Academy providing tuition for children and young people from 4-18 years. Students spend three hours with us, rotating through hour-long sessions in Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre and Film & Television. Students are split into groups according to their age and are taught by specialist teachers.

We offer relaxed & fun filled swimming classes, activities that are individually tailored to suit your child from the age of 0-14 years old as well as Aquanatal classes for expectant women. We ensure that they develop water confidence & vital life saving skills as they will be taught by caring, dedicated & fully qualified teachers. Every lesson has a different lesson plan to stimulate, progress & develop your little one both physiologically and cognitively. We also allow you to book a holiday if you are unable to attend you class and take your courtesy class at a different time or venue while you are still an active customer.

For young people aged 13-17 out of formal education.
Every Monday during term-time from 12-2pm.

Before a young person can attend a youth work project, a referral must be made via the SfYP website.

We are an amateur youth musical theatre company, for children and young adults from local areas, and produce full shows on real stages. Our St Albans cast rehearse at Wheatfields School on Tuesdays from 5- 9 pm however, not everyone rehearses for the full four hours. There are 10 weeks of rehearsals prior to show week which consists of two dress rehearsals and four shows in the Alban Arena. See website for dates.
