This Green Flag accredited park is situated on a gentle hillside overlooking an ornamental lake, which has recently been restored as part of a Heritage Lottery Fund project initiated by the Friends of Barclay Park group. The total area of the park is 18.3 acres. Facilities include car parking, picnic tables, a duck pond, toilets, an easy access pathway and play equipment.

Cedars nature centre
A community zoo based in the historic Cedars park in Waltham cross Hertfordshire. Familiar favourites such as meerkats and owls are just some of the animals found here alongside the strange more unusual creatures such as zorilla and tenrecs, there is lots to discover. The zoo gives visitors the opportunity to get up close to Meerkats, Owls, skunks, small bird species, rabbits, Armadillos and various reptiles and minibeasts. Tickets are just £2.40 pp with unlimited entry all day.

Cedars Park has been a popular public park since it was first gifted to the people of Cheshunt in 1919. For 100 years the park has provided essential space for quiet recreation in a landscape of lawns, woodland and formal gardens. Although close to Cheshunt and Waltham Cross with busy dual carriageways enclosing two sides, Cedars Park survives as an oasis of calmness and tranquility. n/b Please note the park is free to enter, parking is also free (although limited) but there is a nominal entrance fee for entrance Cedars Nature Centre (the small onsite zoo)if you chose to visit there.
