If Autumn or Halloween is not complete for you without sticking on your wellies and stomping through a field to pick the perfect pumpkin, then here's where you can find them and have some family fun along the way!

For your traditional pumpkin patch where you can wonder around a field and choose your perfect specimen...

🎃 The Pop Up Farm can be found just down the road near J9 of the M1 and is open 5th, 6th, 12th & 13th October then 19th - 31st October. 

🎃 Standalone Farm in Letchworth is running a pumpkin patch for the very first time this year.  Open 12th, 13, 19th, 20th October and 26th October to 1st November.

🎃 Keep an eye on their Facebook page for openings at Rumblers Farm Shop in Hemel Hempstead.  They are hoping to be open the 2nd half of October, and there will be no booking required or entry charges, but opening times will be decided at short notice.

🎃 Another option is The Secret Farm  near Bedford, open 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, 19th & 20th October, then 26th - 31st October.  They are also holding a SEN Morning on 12th and 28th October. 

🎃 Now that the lavender season is over Hitchin Lavender have a Pumpkin Patch, open 12th - 13th and 19th - 31st October.

🎃 For something a bit different you can pick your pumpkins in amongst the goats at Herrings Green Activity Farm on 19th, 20th, 26th & 27th October.

🎃 Grove Farm, near Ivinghoe is a PYO fruit and vegetable farm and have pumpkins in September and October.  Check their website for what's currently available and opening times.

🎃 A bit further afield, Pearce's Farm Shop in Buntingford will have a pumpkin field this year.  The launch date has yet to be announced, but it will be free entry, and from 26th - 31st October there will be free tractor rides to the patch!

🎃 Spook-Fest at Aldenham Country Park,  12th October - 3rd November - Note that you need to purchase a separate ticket for pumpkin picking.

🎃 Halloween Pumpkin Patch and Kids Crafts at British Schools Museum - 26th - 3rd November - This is an indoor "pumpkin patch".

🎃 Halloween SpookFest at Church Farm, Ardley, 19th - 31st October.

🎃 Centre of Hocus Pocus at Herrings Green Activity Farm, 26th October - 3rd November.

🎃 Halloween Festival at Lee Valley Adventure Animal Park, 26th October - 1st November - The pumpkin patch is an optional extra (additional charge).

🎃 Pumpkin Festival at Odds Farm Park, 26th October - 3rd November.
