The James Marshall Foundation help young people under 25 years living in Harpenden and Wheathampstead who need financial support with education or career opportunities.

In 2020 over 350 grants were awarded totalling over £180k, with a particular focus on ensuring pupils were able to access remote education. Within that they awarded over 130 grants for school uniform, provided almost 100 vouchers for laptops for children from Year 3 upwards and awarded over 50 grants to assist young people to participate in further educational courses or other activities to ultimately help gain employment.
