Woodland Adventures at Audley End!

Published:

We were so excited to be invited to visit Audley End Miniature railway for their Woodland Adventures. We absolutely love it here for a fun and charming day out for your little ones!

About an hour from Welwyn with a scenic drive, as you enter the grounds of Audley End house you immediately feel the enchament!  With free parking close to the Miniature railway, I've found the parking staff always so friendly! The newly refurbished entrance hut and toilets are both also a lovely treat as both pretty nice.

This October Woodland Adventures are £10 per person, under 92 cm go half price, and under 1s are free!  I'd say the day is aimed at children up to age 8, but older kids will still love the open outdoor space and play area. With the cafe and loads of areas to picnic you could spend a lovely morning or afternoon here.

With your ticket is included :

🚂 A scenic ride on the Miniature railway, which lasts around 17 -20mins , which takes you around the stunning grounds, where you can spot all the decadent, creatively carved creatures spotted around, including Teddy bears, fairies and gnomes!

📝 A free activity workbook and pencil for each child

🎨 Access to the arts and crafts area in the woods. We created the cutest magical wands!

🛝 Access to the fantastic woodland play area

🧚‍♂️ Access to the fairy garden where I could spend hours alone just admiring the gorgeous creations!!

☕A free tea or coffee on weekdays

ðŸŒ³ Woodlands Adventures are running every day until 1st October.

But don't worry! From October starts the Halloween and Christmas activities which are just as fab!
