Today we adventured slightly further afield to visit Thomley and we loved it!!!
Thomley is a charity run space in Buckinghamshire for people of all abilities and disabilities. Alongside the focus days run for children with disabilities, they also offer Open for All sessions, so we went today to see their new The Floor is Lava playground, which was FANTASTIC!!
The space is huge and there are so many indoor and outdoor activities on offer, we were blown away for what was included in the price of our ticket (£13 a child, adult free).
Here's a snapshot of what we did today:
Balloon pillow
Bouncy castle assault course
Bike riding and trike riding
Trampoline ( free but book at reception)
Indoor arts and crafts including sticking , gluing and painting
Indoor soft play
The floor is Lava playground
Visit to sensory garden
Visit to the ducks and chickens
The music room that includes a full drum kit
Building in the building room
Sandpit
There are also extra creative activities that can be booked ( today was fruit kebabs). You can also book the two sensory rooms for an additional cost stating from £5.
We had a lovely day and were there from 11am till closing at 3.30pm.
There is an indoor cafe with hot and cold food including breakfast, sandwiches, panini's and jackets. The cafe is priced nicely but you can bring your lunches too.
The huge outdoor space and grass offers so much freedom to just RUN. The girls absolutely loved it and the staff were so friendly. Our drive was just over an hour. We will definitely be back!
Ps - Thomley also offers camping!!!!!
