We recently visited the newly opened Woodland Ranch in Tewin for the first time and we were really excited to check it out. An added bonus is that well behaved dogs on leads can join so Bella came with us. We love a day out where we can include her!

The farm has a really large free car park, bonus!  The first thing we noticed when we arrived were how gorgeous the surroundings were; it wasn't the sunniest day and I can imagine on a summer's day, the countryside views are stunning. The car park has immediate access to some farm animals, much to the delight of our girls who could see the ponies when we were driving in!

We visited the farm in Half Term week so they had the cutest teddy bear picnic event on. Given it was half term, it wasn't overcrowded with people which always makes for a nicer day out. 

As you enter the farm you are greeted by the goats on one side, and a huge dinosaur on the other . ROARRR!

The farm route is buggy friendly, although some parts maybe less so on a muddy day. 

The tractor rides are unlimited in your ticket; the ride takes around 10 minutes and is great fun across the field where the cows ranch. On our visit there was a tractor ride every hour. 

There's loads to do on the farm, including the inclusive woodland play area, with different slides and play houses; we spent a long time in here! 

There are also other bits to do including the Sculptor walk, Chick cuddles- we loved this!!!, and the toy car race track. 

There is an on site snack shack with a selection of cakes, drinks, sandwiches and other goodies, which is well priced. There were kids sandwich boxes available too and outdoor seating. 

There is a great selection of animals, we loved feeding the goats, pigs, cows and Emus! Our favourite animals were the ponies.

All in all this was a great afternoon well spent and we will definitely look forward to another visit soon!
