Making Waves is a family business, owned and run by Millie Herbert. We run weekly lessons at Sandringham School in St Albans and Aldwickbury School in Harpenden. All lessons are 30 mins long & all our swimmers work towards recognised Swim England Awards. We also offer crash courses in most school holidays at Sandringham School and Aldwickbury School. Making Waves offers a friendly & relaxed environment, where your children will be eager to join in, have fun, build water confidence & of course, learn to swim.

The Toddlers Group is a friendly and popular meeting place for toddlers and their parents or carers. It meets every Tuesday morning during school terms. As well as toys, puzzles and books, there is an activity table for craft work and a time for singing. New members are always welcome. From 9:4am.

Runs term-time only

Connect and Play a drop in and chill out time for children aged 3 - 8 on Fridays 3.15 - 5pm, term time. Lego, books, puzzles, crafts and games. No need to book. Run in the church building, enter by the front glass doors.

Mighty Netball delivers weekly engaging sports coaching for children from age five to eleven. Sessions are play-based and use creative ways to teach the fundamentals of Netball. Join Mighty to benefit from personal, social and technical skill development. #startplayingbecomeMighty

Mini Athletics St Albans and Hatfield was set up to give children a great alternative to the regular sports options on offer to children today. We want children to have the opportunity to develop their cognitive and social skills as well as encouraging teamwork. Athletics is a sport we are very passionate about and we want to share that with children so that their first experience of sport is fun.

Mini Mindfulness run children's yoga and mindfulness classes on a Saturday morning. The classes are 45 minutes long and consist of yoga, mindfulness games, arts and crafts, stories and music. Each session has a different mindfulness theme, focussing on developing well-being, strength, flexibility, friendships and most importantly having fun.
