Our Bryan Donkin boat can take a maximum of 12 passengers, plus crew. Lasts about 45 minutes. £6 per passengers. Booking essential as these are very popular and sell fast.

Half Term trips down the River Gade, to join the Grand Union Canal, while stories are read. We try to pause to watch and feed any wildlife we meet along the way. The river is full of life and at this time we should see some young broods of goslings, cygnets, ducklings and moorhens. A gentle way for younger children, to spend some time during the school break.
Our Bryan Donkin boat can take a maximum of 12 passengers, plus crew. Lasts about 45 minutes. £6 per passengers. Booking essential as these are very popular and sell fast.

Summer Storyboats
Frogmore Paper Mill Wharf
Wed 14th August 2024
11am, 1.30pm and 3pm
Half Term trips down the River Gade, to join the Grand Union Canal, while stories are read. We try to pause to watch and feed any wildlife we meet along the way. The river is full of life and at this time we should see some young broods of goslings, cygnets, ducklings and moorhens. A gentle way for younger children, to spend some time during the school break.
Our Bryan Donkin boat can take a maximum of 12 passengers, plus crew. Lasts about 45 minutes. £6 per passengers. Booking essential as these are very popular and sell fast.

A new Family Show and Augmented Reality Experience, inspired by an original story by Artistic Director Tomasin Cuthbert.
Moving house to a new city where it always rains, Kit is alone. Making friends is always hard, but here, it feels impossible. The rain beats down on the roof and drips down the window panes, trapping Kit in the quiet stillness of their dingy bedroom. But, one night, when idly scribbling to pass the time, the swirls and whirls on the page giggle into a life of their own, and a very unusual adventure unfolds!
A story about the magic of creativity, how we reach out to each other in the darkness and together, bring the impossible to life.

Tape That
Stockwood Discovery Centre
Thu 15th August 2024
11:30am and 2pm
Acrobatics, juggling, physical theatre and suitcase full of duct tape.
Tape That! is a charming, light-hearted, non-verbal acrobatic duet. Two performers construct a visual world using colourful tape, object manipulation and partner acrobatics. A simple roll of tape transforms from DJ decks to a spyglass, and is stretched to create physical barriers and obstacles for the performers to navigate.
When challenges present themselves, just how many problems can be fixed with a few rolls of duct tape?
This is an outdoor production, so please bring a chair or blanket to sit on, a picnic to dig into, and dress for the weather!
Running Time: 25 minutes

Wednesday 21st August
Summer Storyboats
Frogmore Paper Mill Wharf
Wed 21st August 2024
11am, 1.30pm and 3pm
Half Term trips down the River Gade, to join the Grand Union Canal, while stories are read. We try to pause to watch and feed any wildlife we meet along the way. The river is full of life and at this time we should see some young broods of goslings, cygnets, ducklings and moorhens. A gentle way for younger children, to spend some time during the school break.
Our Bryan Donkin boat can take a maximum of 12 passengers, plus crew. Lasts about 45 minutes. £6 per passengers. Booking essential as these are very popular and sell fast.

Summer Storyboats
Frogmore Paper Mill Wharf
Wed 28th August 2024
11am, 1.30pm and 3pm
Half Term trips down the River Gade, to join the Grand Union Canal, while stories are read. We try to pause to watch and feed any wildlife we meet along the way. The river is full of life and at this time we should see some young broods of goslings, cygnets, ducklings and moorhens. A gentle way for younger children, to spend some time during the school break.
Our Bryan Donkin boat can take a maximum of 12 passengers, plus crew. Lasts about 45 minutes. £6 per passengers. Booking essential as these are very popular and sell fast.

Sat 7th December 2024 - Mon 30th December 2024
This Christmas, you're invited to the pantomime of your dreams - SLEEPING BEAUTY, at the Eric Morecambe Centre, Harpenden.
Once upon a time in a Pantoland far, far away, a beautiful princess is cursed by the evil Carbosse to perish on her 18th birthday by pricking her finger on a spinning wheel. Thanks to Fairy Nuff, Sleeping Beauty falls into a deep sleep that can only be broken by her one true love. Will the handsome prince come to her rescue, fight the dragon, destroy Carabosse, and save the day? Will the hilarious Nurse Nelly finally find the man of her dreams and will Chester the Jester find his own super powers to protect the princess? There's only one way to find out...
