106 talented young people aged between 11 and 21 from Scouts and Girlguiding across St Albans have been rehearsing since October to prepare for the all singing-all dancing show, which runs from Wednesday 11th February through to Saturday 14th February 2026 at the Alban Arena.

From the 9th February to 27th March, we are inviting young artists to take part in our "Kindness in My World" jewellery design competition. They can let their imagination shine by designing a pendant for someone truly special. Using the template, and any medium of their choice, their illustration can show an act of kindness, a fond memory, or any aspect they can think of, where their chosen person brings/brought a smile to their face. They're encouraged to add a short note explaining the story behind their artwork- who the person is and what the design means.

This gentle, hands-on experience allows adults and children to get up close, help feed our friendly lambs, and learn more about life on the farm. A truly heart-warming activity and the perfect addition to a family day out at Aldenham Country Park.

Join us for lamb bottle feeding this spring. This is a unique and memorable experience for people of all ages.

Commencing from February Half Term 2026.

A total of six people can bottle feed the lambs per session (each has a separate lamb). The price includes Lamb Bottle Feeding for one person only (young children must have one accompanying adult in the pen to help them), please remember to book Farm Day passes for all farm visitors (under two's are free). Farm Day passes include access to the farm, the farm trail and activity book, plus the woodland play area.

Welcome to our silent disco, the perfect way to shake off all that half-term energy and get everyone moving.

Staying away from the cold, our disco will take place inside our View Café, so grab a headset and join in!

During the school holidays, we run 'Family Fun' events across Hertfordshire - where we welcome little ones 0-5 years, and their siblings up to 8 years, to come along and take part in fun activities. It's a great way to meet other local parents and carers, take part in activities and also somewhere to visit that doesn't break the bank!

This is sessions for SEND families and there is no charge.

This Half Term spend some time in the company of our beautiful Owls

Spend some time in the company of our owls. Under the guidance of our falconers meet and handle many different species of owls including the Barn Owl, Eagle Owl, Scops Owl, Tawny Owl and more. A great opportunity to get photos and ask the falconer any questions you may have.

From here you will head out into the main arena where you will be given the opportunity to fly the owls, experience their silent flight as they glide into your gloved hand.; a truly memorable moment.

This activity lasts for approximately 90 minutes, suitable for children over the age of 5 years.

Our resident exotic animal specialist, Mark Amey, is back with a fun, interactive event designed especially for those who are curious about the natural world.

Mark is a passionate expert with years of experience as an exotic and domestic animal keeper, breeder, zoologist, environmentalist, and conservationist. What he doesn't know about animals isn't worth knowing, so much so he has even been on BBC's QI!

We will also be running complimentary 30-minute craft sessions after each show, where you can join a guided hunt for natural materials in the newly renovated woodland followed by a crafting session in the party barn themed around the animals the children have encountered.

However, we will have a SEND friendly session every morning between 10:15am - 10:45am as we understand that loud and busy spaces can be overwhelming for some children with additional needs. During these sessions we'll be keeping the lights up, the music low and limiting numbers to ensure a calm, gentle experience.

The much-anticipated return of the St Albans Pancake festival is here! This beloved event is set to grace the streets of St Albans once again this year, and the entire community is invited to take part and enjoy! Join us on Shrove Tuesday, 17th February 2026 as teams showcase their flipping expertise to compete for the highly regarded Pancake trophies, awarded to the fastest running and walking teams.

The St Albans Pancake Festival is organised by local children's charity, Home-Start Hertfordshire, in collaboration with Business Buzz.

Last year, the festival raised a fabulous £7,215. These funds contributed to supporting local families facing vulnerabilities and in need of assistance, helping them navigate and overcome their challenges.

From the 9th February to 27th March, we are inviting young artists to take part in our "Kindness in My World" jewellery design competition. They can let their imagination shine by designing a pendant for someone truly special. Using the template, and any medium of their choice, their illustration can show an act of kindness, a fond memory, or any aspect they can think of, where their chosen person brings/brought a smile to their face. They're encouraged to add a short note explaining the story behind their artwork- who the person is and what the design means.

Welcome to our silent disco, the perfect way to shake off all that half-term energy and get everyone moving.

Staying away from the cold, our disco will take place inside our View Café, so grab a headset and join in!

Our resident exotic animal specialist, Mark Amey, is back with a fun, interactive event designed especially for those who are curious about the natural world.

Mark is a passionate expert with years of experience as an exotic and domestic animal keeper, breeder, zoologist, environmentalist, and conservationist. What he doesn't know about animals isn't worth knowing, so much so he has even been on BBC's QI!

We will also be running complimentary 30-minute craft sessions after each show, where you can join a guided hunt for natural materials in the newly renovated woodland followed by a crafting session in the party barn themed around the animals the children have encountered.

Activities include arts and crafts, face-painting, storytelling, music and more!

All children, young people and their families are welcome to join the fun in the Imagination Station at any time. However, we will have a SEND friendly session every morning between 10:15am - 10:45am as we understand that loud and busy spaces can be overwhelming for some children with additional needs. During these sessions we'll be keeping the lights up, the music low and limiting numbers to ensure a calm, gentle experience.

This gentle, hands-on experience allows adults and children to get up close, help feed our friendly lambs, and learn more about life on the farm. A truly heart-warming activity and the perfect addition to a family day out at Aldenham Country Park.

Join us for lamb bottle feeding this spring. This is a unique and memorable experience for people of all ages.

Commencing from February Half Term 2026.

A total of six people can bottle feed the lambs per session (each has a separate lamb). The price includes Lamb Bottle Feeding for one person only (young children must have one accompanying adult in the pen to help them), please remember to book Farm Day passes for all farm visitors (under two's are free). Farm Day passes include access to the farm, the farm trail and activity book, plus the woodland play area.

Come and visit the largest preserved Midland Railway signal box in the UK and one of the few preserved boxes that's open to the public and next to a busy main line railway.

Signalling demonstrations are run on the operating floor upstairs whenever asked for. Railway videos and a slideshow of the restoration are shown downstairs, with many signalling items on display, including single line 'tablet token' machines, and other railway-related exhibits.

In the garden visitors can operate working signals and a point; on display are old signs, lit oil lamps, a telegraph 'pole route' and a garden railway.

All the fun of the circus comes to Campus West on Wednesday 18th February when the laughter-packed stage show Cartoon Circus Live combines the comedy of pantomime with the thrill of the circus.

The one hour half term holiday family show features some of Britain's funniest clowns, traditional slapstick comedy, illusions, the amazing girl in the spinning bottle, magic, a huge giant dancing bear, cartoon characters, an acrobatic human slinky, puppets, prizes and surprises.

The Galleria, Hatfield, is delighted to welcome families to the centre this February Half Term to enjoy Train and Track play sessions.

The Cloaked Castle

During the school holidays, we run 'Family Fun' events across Hertfordshire - where we welcome little ones 0-5 years, and their siblings up to 8 years, to come along and take part in fun activities. It's a great way to meet other local parents and carers, take part in activities and also somewhere to visit that doesn't break the bank!

We only charge £2.50 for the whole family and they usually last for about 1.5 hours.

The Galleria, Hatfield, is delighted to welcome families to the centre this February Half Term to enjoy Train and Track play sessions.

From Wednesday 18th February to Saturday 21st February, 'Train and Track Play' will be setting up their huge play track and trains in the ex-GAP unit next to Moss.

Train and Track Play offer organised play sessions for children to integrate and socialise with other children, with a huge variety of toy trains and cars available to enjoy.

Welcome to our silent disco, the perfect way to shake off all that half-term energy and get everyone moving.

Staying away from the cold, our disco will take place inside our View Café, so grab a headset and join in!

Recommended to ages 3-12

Our resident exotic animal specialist, Mark Amey, is back with a fun, interactive event designed especially for those who are curious about the natural world.

Mark is a passionate expert with years of experience as an exotic and domestic animal keeper, breeder, zoologist, environmentalist, and conservationist. What he doesn't know about animals isn't worth knowing, so much so he has even been on BBC's QI!

We will also be running complimentary 30-minute craft sessions after each show, where you can join a guided hunt for natural materials in the newly renovated woodland followed by a crafting session in the party barn themed around the animals the children have encountered.

Activities include arts and crafts, face-painting, storytelling, music and more!

All children, young people and their families are welcome to join the fun in the Imagination Station at any time. However, we will have a SEND friendly session every morning between 10:15am - 10:45am as we understand that loud and busy spaces can be overwhelming for some children with additional needs. During these sessions we'll be keeping the lights up, the music low and limiting numbers to ensure a calm, gentle experience.

Create memories that last a lifetime whilst Bottle Feeding our adorable lambs!
This gentle, hands-on experience allows adults and children to get up close, help feed our friendly lambs, and learn more about life on the farm. A truly heart-warming activity and the perfect addition to a family day out at Aldenham Country Park.

Join us for lamb bottle feeding this spring. This is a unique and memorable experience for people of all ages.

Commencing from February Half Term 2026.

A total of six people can bottle feed the lambs per session (each has a separate lamb). The price includes Lamb Bottle Feeding for one person only (young children must have one accompanying adult in the pen to help them), please remember to book Farm Day passes for all farm visitors (under two's are free). Farm Day passes include access to the farm, the farm trail and activity book, plus the woodland play area.

From the 9th February to 27th March, we are inviting young artists to take part in our "Kindness in My World" jewellery design competition. They can let their imagination shine by designing a pendant for someone truly special. Using the template, and any medium of their choice, their illustration can show an act of kindness, a fond memory, or any aspect they can think of, where their chosen person brings/brought a smile to their face. Get the children out on to the farm this February Half Term and spend the day in the company of our animal keepers, birds & animals.

The day is packed full with interactive animal experiences, during the day children will have the opportunity to meet, handle and fly some of our beautiful owls, meet and feed many of our farm animals including our goats, donkeys, pigs, and alpacas. Join us for a walk in the company of our wonderful alpacas

Alpacas are beautiful animals to be around, enjoy a leisurely walk around the farm this Summer. Under the instruction of our animal keepers, you will be introduced to our herd of alpacas including some of our babies. You will receive instructions on how to walk them before we head out across the surrounding fields of the farm. There will be plenty of time to take photos and ask the animal keeper any questions you may have. The walk lasts approximately 40 minutes, on return to the centre, you can then sit back and relax in the tea room where you will receive tea/coffee and a delicious array of cakes.
