Just over a week ago I was invited along to try the new afternoon tea at The Hummingbird Hertford with my friend Cat. If you've not been to the hummingbird before it is located in Hertford town with stunning decor and a distinct London vibe the order of the day.

The staff were exceptionally attentive and the food was delicious, a brilliant range of cakes , a sumptious selection of brioches and freshly baked scones, all accompanied by a choice of tea and coffee and of course prosecco.
