Advertising Feature by Aldwickbury School
In 2024, Aldwickbury Pre-Prep and Prep School for ages 4-13 in Harpenden was named the UK's Independent Boys' School of the Year. Now, the school has begun an exciting new chapter as it moves to co-education.
This September, Aldwickbury welcomed girls into its Pre-Prep (Reception, Year 1, and Year 2). From September 2026, girls will also join Year 3, as the school continues its journey towards full co-education by 2031.
At Aldwickbury, children are free to find their greatness. Through a holistic education, pupils achieve academic success while becoming happy, confident and future-ready learners. The school also released a new video, offering a wonderful insight into life at Aldwickbury.

"If you're looking for a newborn photographer in the Welwyn Garden City area, look no further than Ian Scott Photography. It was honestly one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had - and we have young baby twins! With that little handful, you might think this shoot would have been a little chaotic; however, it was anything but. We received the most warm welcome at Ian and Emma's wonderful home studio in Wheathampstead. They offered us the most delicious coffee and biscuits too, which always goes down well :) And the images? They are absolutely beautiful. At the time of writing, I am gazing up at the wall to the right of me and marvelling at the moments in time they have captured for us. There were so many amazing images to choose from, that we were actually spoiled for choice. We plan to go back for another shoot when the twins are a little older. Thanks to the both of you for having us and making us feel so welcome."
