This is the biggest welcome you'll get in London. We can't wait to see you from 5 August. Wednesday - Sunday 11.00-18.00 (last entry 17.00) Closed Monday and Tuesday except 31 August 11.00-18.00 (bank holiday) . To help keep everyone safe, a timed entry system is in place. Only a limited number of people are allowed in our galleries. It's essential that all visitors (including Members and Corporate Supporters) book a free ticket in advance online.

This sandy beach is very different from its more well known neighbour at Walton on the Naze. The beach has WWII defences and the well known Naze Tower nearby. It's a great place to hunt for fossils. Most common are sharks teeth which are easy to find - if you know what to look for! **There is no lifeguard service on this beach.
