Ware Festival
Annual town event featuring a variety of community events, entertainment, and family-friendly activities for all ages throughout the town. The festival brings the community together with live music, arts, heritage, and fun, making it a key annual event for locals and visitors.
Organised by the Ware Festival Committee.
Catch the spectacular Boat Parade from 12:45pm on Saturday, 4th July, plus lots of other riverside activities throughout the weekend:
Friday evening - boaters' towpath BBQ
Saturday 12:35(ish) - parade of decorated boats
Saturday 14:309ish) - boat handling competition
Saturday 19:30(ish) - boaters' quiz in Riverside Hall
Carnival Parade The parade starts at 1:25pm from Broadmeads. Collection during the Parade is for the Ware Festival charities;
Wodson Park, Ware Museum & the Mayor's charity, SPACE Herts.
4th July 2pm, early entry noon Town Fair Held in the Ware Priory grounds,
Official opening at 2pm, early entry from noon. Stalls, fantastic entertainment from The London Fanfare Trumpets, Goldie Vegas, Rimski & Handkerchief & Steel Pan in Motion. Bars will be open. Presented by Herts County Sound. Entry £1 donation to the Ware Festival & Mayor's charities.
