Held in the beautiful grounds of Hertford Castle on Sunday 10th May from 12 noon - 4.00pm, the event aims to inspire simple, positive changes that can help reduce our carbon footprint and protect the natural environment.
Visitors can enjoy a wide range of eco-themed activities, stalls, entertainment, and opportunities to learn more about sustainable living. Highlights include:
Bugfest - an exciting hands-on wildlife experience, giving visitors the chance to get up close with a fascinating range of insects and creatures while learning about their importance in our ecosystems
Junk Modelling with The Wonder Den
Smoothie Bike - pedal power to make your own smoothie
E-bike display and test rides with event sponsor, Highway Cycles
Sustainable fashion stalls
Upcycling & Repair Station by The Fabric Folk - learn simple techniques to repair or refresh clothing, with materials and guidance provided
Sustainable Hertford Heath Repair* Shop - get advice and diagnosis for a range of household items
Food, drink and craft stalls
Information and education around money saving ideas and carbon reduction suggestions
Live entertainment from local musicians and dance troupes.
The Castle will also be open for visitors to explore throughout the day.

11:30am - Caribbean Shorts for Families (PG) (£5)
A vibrant collection of short films from the Caribbean, exploring the world around us-from personal journeys and social activism to the story of a travelling goat.
4:15pm - Possible Landscapes (U) + Q&A (Pay What You Want)
A poignant exploration of intergenerational experiences of Caribbean environments, filmed across two seasons in Trinidad and Tobago. Through intimate portraits of daily life, the film examines colonial legacies, environmental change, and the evolving relationship between people and place.
