The Gala evening includes Christmas markets throughout the town, live entertainment on stage, street entertainment and costume characters, fairground rides, and the Christmas Lights will be switched on at 6pm by the Mayor of Hertford.
Retailers will be offering free goodies and samples, discounts, and instore entertainment throughout the weekend.
