Hertford Art & Literature Festival

From 12pm to 4pm, the Hertford Art & Literature Festival will bring together local artists, authors and community groups for a vibrant event filled with creativity and hands-on activities.
Visitors can browse art, literature and craft stalls, meet local artists and enjoy a range of activities for all ages. Hertford Castle will also be open to explore free of charge.
Activities include:
'Bring a Book, Take a Book' exchange hosted by Herts Book Fest
Storytime and Rhyme Time sessions with Hertford Library
Creative art activities led by Hertford Art Society and Courtyard Arts
Collaborative "Longest Story" activity with local author Alice Hemming
Community pebble mosaic for the Castle's Sunken Garden
Interactive Spanish taster sessions with event sponsor Hertfordshire Spanish School.
The event will also feature a live programme of entertainment, including a storytelling session with author Daren Peary, a children's wellness session delivered by Mini, Mind & Motion, and a fantastic line-up of local music talent. The winners of the Mayor of Hertford's Nature Creativity Competition and the selected artist for the new Community Art Project at Evron Place will also be announced on the day.
A selection of food and drink stalls will be available on site.
The Hertford Art & Literature Festival promises an inspiring day filled with creativity, imagination and community spirit.
