What's a Gruffalo craft Party?

Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of storytelling, crafts, and delicious treats inspired by the beloved children's book, The Gruffalo.

Bring your little ones along for a magical experience surrounded by fellow fans of the classic tale. Don't miss out on this exciting event that promises to give you a roaring good time!

Take a seat at the crafty table and get creative or team up and have a game in the quiet corner. We have colouring in, dot to dot and so much more as well as soft log cushions for little bottoms and gruffalos to cuddle.

Feeling Hungry, then join our little chef session and make your own Gruffalo crumble snack pack to take away with you.

We will finish the afternoon with tea at three and storytime but before you go don't forget to look all around the rest of the book festival to see how many of the forest creatures you can find, watch out little mouse there may be a Gruffalo hiding somewhere.

Agenda (suitable for 3+ years) : *Allergyn Notice

10am - Activity sheets - Word search , Dot to Dot and Colouring in to do in the cafe while you eat.

11am - Gruffalo Water Colours, while you grab yourself a coffee your little one can stay and paint a gruffalo template with water colours.

12pm - Gruffalo or Mouse Mask making, all materials supplied ( pen's, pencils, glitter and glue).

1pm - Gruffalo Child Jumping Jacks puppet, all materials supplied ( pen's, pencils, glitter, glue and paper joining pins).

2pm - Pop on your apron and get making as we create our own gruffalo crumble snack pack (*may contain tree nuts). This activity is suitable for all ages as no 'cooking' is involved, it's just for fun. (ingredients : Chocolate, *Whole Nuts, Biscuits, Smarties)

3pm - Join us for tea at three, take a seat on our log cushions hidden amongst the leaves or cuddle up with a gruffalo and listen to some stories.
