✨ DARK SKIES at Hertford Castle ✨

Join us for an inspiring evening of stargazing, educational talks and hands-on activities. Highlights include a mobile planetarium and interactive learning about the impact of artificial light on people and the natural environment 🌠

Talks inside the Castle include:
🔭 An introduction to astronomy with Bayfordbury Observatory.
📖 A talk & book signing with dark sky advocate and author Megan Eaves-Egenes.
🦔 Wildlife-friendly gardening from Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust.
💡 The impact of lighting at night on people and the planet with LAPDlighting.
📖✨ Shadow play and story time with Alice Hemming Author.

From 6.45pm, there will be a full light switch off, allowing visitors to experience the magic of the night sky and a guided stargazing talk with Bayfordbury Observatory.

This interactive community event is perfect for families, nature lovers and anyone curious about the night sky 🌙
