Pre & Postnatal Pilates classes at the lovely Pilates Workshop in St Albans.
Small classes so individual attention can be given.
Exercises are targeted for the pre & post natal period, they are safe & effective.
Classes are taught by Claire, mum of two, & fully qualified Body Control Pilates Pre & Postnatal teacher, with lots of experience supporting mums through pregnancy & after birth to regain confidence in your body & what it can do.
What does it mean to strengthen your core? Why is it important during pregnancy & postnatally?
Your core muscles include your abdominal wall muscles, pelvic floor, diaphragm & muscles along the spine.
To have a strong & functional core when pregnant & after having your baby all of the muscles need to be working together & exercised effectively.
Postnatal is not just limited to the months immediately after birth, issues from pregnancy, labour & birth can continue beyond this time if they aren't addressed. My classes are open to all mums who feel they may benefit.
