Situated within the historic Verulamium Park just a short walk from the town centre and the Roman Verulamium Museum and car park. The café overlooks the beautiful surroundings of a 100 acres of parkland where there are many amenities including a children's playground, children's splash pool (summer only), trampolines, crazy golf, the Adizone outdoor gym, basketball court and a lake which attracts a wide variety of wildlife. The cafe is child & dog friendly and has disabled access and facilities.

We are an independent, family owned coffee bar in St. Albans, located in The Maltings shopping centre. We care about great coffee, quality fresh food & treats baked from scratch using high quality local suppliers, and doing our part for our planet by sourcing sustainably and recycling wherever possible.

Locanda bagutta opened its doors in the historic city of St. Albans in October 2018. Serving traditional Italian Dishes emphasising the quality and freshness of the produce, where our unique products and Italian cooking passion meet, with all our pasta made fresh, daily.
