We are an independent family run business with a passion for fresh, seasonal, homemade food. Street Cafe serves locally sourced food and coffee.

The Breakfast Club is the perfect place to loose yourself away from the hustle and bustle. Whether you are on your own or with a group of friends the relaxed and laid back environment is an ideal location for a early morning breakfast, mid morning coffee and cake or a fantastic lunch. We are also fully licensed so you can enjoy a lovely glass of wine or bottled beer with your meal.

Our fresh Morrisons Cafe menu gives you even more of a reason to take a break during a visit to your local store. We've given many of the cafés themselves a makeover too, so you can enjoy great tasting Morrisons food in a more relaxing, comfortable and modern environment.

Situated on the edge of St Albans with stunning views over open fields, the Potting Shed Cafe is light and spacious serving specialty tea and coffee, breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes using our own grown and locally sourced produce.

Breakfast tables are on a walk-in basis (last order at 11:30am)

Lunch tables may be reserved on our website from noon each day.

Stop by for a really good homemade pudding. No fuss, no fads, just tasty puds. Baked fresh each day in our bakery upstairs. Served downstairs in our shop everyday until late, with a selection of pudding wine and craft beer. We do not accept reservations. We serve guests on a walk-in basis. Welcome to The Waffle House, located within the 16th Century, Grade II listed Kingsbury watermill overlooking the River Ver in St Albans. A family business since 1978, we specialise in sweet and savoury Belgian waffles individually cooked to order with many organic and free-range ingredients.
