The biggest model show in the area returns for 2026 on the last weekend of September at Townsend Church of England Secondary School in St Albans. Join us for two days of moving model action. Have-a-go at controlling models, enjoy Street Food Heroes catering & marvel at hundred of beautiful models. Tremendous value for a day's amusement, fascination and inspiration.

Once you are in, nearly all the have-a-go activities are free. Youngsters can jump on and drive their own train, drive a radio controlled truck with the Tamiya UK Truckers club in the school canteen, experiment with engines, sail a radio controlled boat, take a steam train ride, take control of a model train and more. We have the rocket man again launching real rockets, 3, 2, 1 go! We are expecting traction engines and a steam lorry. The Tiger Tank will be in action under the control of its animatronic commander. We hope to have a real model jet aircraft taxiing around. We of course have plenty of beautiful models to amaze and inspire.

Plenty of free car parking. Refreshments are provided by Street Food heroes (Lara's Doughwiththeflow on Saturday and Emma's Smokehouse on Sunday) as well as our indoor cafe. We have a coffee cart by Thomas Evans for the good stuff.
