Herts Young Mariners Base outdoor centre, known as HYMB, has been delivering high quality outdoor education sessions to adults and young people for over 60 years. From initially offering mainly watersports, over the past decade we have expanded into other areas, for example caving, climbing, problem-solving, team building activities and stand up paddleboarding.

We offer a range of junior ski lessons from complete beginner (Level 1) right through to SnowStars Academy Coaching Club and Freestyle Coaching. You can choose whether you want your junior to join others in Group Lessons or have a Private 1:1 Lesson, it's up to you! Lesson durations vary. Skis, boots, poles, helmets and lift passes are included in all our Lessons.

Baby Yoga classes for babies 12 weeks+ at Hemel in the purpose built Litte Lotus Baby Studio. Perfect for Mum and baby to bond and relax in. Redbourn Riding School is a friendly, small riding school run by Esther Robinson, BHS AI and has nine ponies available for use The riding school offers lessons both of an hour or half an hour duration, with group (no more than five riders in an hour) and private lessons also available. Snowbility is the brainchild of Ski Development Coach, Richard Fetherston, who discovered the incredible benefits that could be achieved for people with additional needs, mental health and rehabilitation challenges through ski and snowboard coaching.

In the tween and Teen years so much is changing in bodies, friendships, studies at school, and the world! Yoga helps to support growing bodies, busy lives, self awareness and confidence. The classes are fun-filled with lots of inspirational yoga poses with the aim of introducing tweens and teens to yoga in the hope they are inspired to make it part of their lives.
