Aldenham Country Playground is a purpose built multi-sensory play facility for children and young people with disabilities and other special needs. Throughout the week we have a variety of activities on offer. Why not come along and try something new - from fun and games, arts and crafts to meeting our animals. Admission charge to the Playground includes parking and the admission of a parent or carer.

Estate is a 5,000 acre area of the Chiltern Hills with beech and oak woodlands, commons and chalk downlands. These very different landscapes each support a rich variety of wildlife, including carpets of bluebells in spring, rare butterflies in summer and the fallow deer that rut in autumn. The best way to explore the Estate is on foot or by bike. Free entry to the site. Dogs welcome - please keep them under control.

Baulk Wood is a small mixed woodland with a large area of meadow. This fully restored landfill site is now a beautiful place to visit. The habitats have matured and it is hard to believe what it once was! There is a car park and several walks. Benches and natural play features are dotted around the site, as well as a wonderful wildlife sculpture trail. It is a great place for all the family.

Bekonscot Model Village & Railway is the world's oldest original model village, opening for the first time in 1929. With over 90 years of history, huge model railway, 1.5 acres of well kept gardens and finely detailed model buildings Bekonscot is a great day out for everyone. Stuck in a 1930s time warp, see England how it used to be, & discover a wonderful little world tucked away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life. Since its opening over 15 million visitors have been captivated by the charm and eccentricity of Roland Callingham's creation. Bekonscot continues the traditions established by our founder of welcoming visitors to the village and supporting worthwhile causes. Each year surplus income is distributed to a number of mainly local charities and good causes. To date over £5.5 million has been donated. Please note: Only assistance dogs are allowed in the village.
