The Watford Miniature Railway is a 10¼" gauge railway located in Cassiobury Park. Located next to the park's paddling pools, playground and Hub building, we offer train rides all year round on weekends and bank holidays plus most school holidays (check website). The railway runs through a wooded area adjacent to the River Gade, and a ride takes approximately five minutes.

Set off along one of the many beautiful trails on foot, bicycle, buggy or horse to explore the highest hill in the Chilterns. Alternatively do something a little more energetic, such as Go Ape! Tree Top Adventure, orienteering, or the fitness trail assault course. If that's all too energetic find a quiet spot to picnic, enjoy the views, have a barbecue or pop in to the cafe for coffee and cake.

Wicksteed Park - the home of children's play - is a unique combination of 147 acres of beautiful Grade II listed parkland plus nature sites, 30 exciting rides for youngsters, extensive playgrounds, a large campsite and the UK's most popular narrow gauge railway, plus plenty of places to eat and relax.

Willen Lake is Milton Keynes' most popular park. Over one million visitors a year take part in watersports activities, go cycling, enjoy the playground and splash park, play mini-golf, try the high ropes course or simply picnic along Willen's shores. The park is open year round and there is no admission fee. (Note that car parking charges apply.) Facilities: Play area, public toilets, trim trail, cycle hire, boat hire, Pedalos, fishing mini golf, picnic tables, seating, BBQ area, cafe, watersports, high ropes.

Marvel at the architecture of the largest country house in Cambridgeshire. Stroll around our 18th century pleasure grounds and explore our woodland. At Home Farm discover our shire horses, rare beed sheep, cattle and pigs; with daily activities and adventure playground there's plenty to do.
