Events coming up at Showstoppers Performing Arts, Hitchin

Showstoppers Performing Arts was a double winner in the Mum's guide to Hitchin Awards 2025, winning Best Activity Class or Group for School-age Children and Runner-up in Best Holiday Club or Class. They have a number of very exciting events coming up, offering young performers the chance to train, explore and be inspired by industry professionals.

• The first event is a West End Workshop with Jodie Steele, an acclaimed musical theatre performer known for her work in major West End and Broadway productions and can be seen in Mallory Towers on BBC Iplayer. This exclusive workshop will take place on Friday 30 January in Hitchin (4.30pm–7.30pm). Participants will gain first-hand insight into professional performance, with a focus on technique, confidence and a Q&A to finish.
  
  

• On Saturday 7 February, Showstoppers will host an Exclusive Talent Agency Workshop in partnership with TTA Kids (their affiliated agency), led by Director and Head Agent Warren Bacci. Held at Derwent School, Henlow, the workshop offers a fun, friendly and no-pressure environment for young performers. Sessions are split by age group (ages 3–7 and ages 8+), and attendees will also have the opportunity to be seen and potentially scouted for representation by TTA Kids.
  
  

• Rounding off the programme is a 5-Day Performing Arts Camp running throughout February half term, from Monday 16 February to Friday 20 February, at Highover School, Hitchin. Taking place daily from 10am–3pm, with wrap-around care available from 9am–4pm, the camp offers a full week of singing, dancing and acting with a show to parents on the last day.

Welcome to Coats 4 Kids Herts 2025 Autumn/Winter Season 🍂 

With the weather on the turn, we are now welcoming Kids Winter coat donations ready to rehome 🙏🏻 

‘Coats for Kids’ is a safe place where families can come for a FREE preloved Winter coat for a child at zero cost and with zero judgement. 

We want to help share preloved, good quality coats to Kids that need a coat for Winter. Helping to support families in a completely confidential way. This is our 4th Autumn/Winter 🤍

We greatly appreciate donations of preloved, clean, good quality Winter Children’s coats, all sizes accepted (from Baby to Teenage). Unfortunately we can’t accept any other clothing items. 

Please kindly take your donations in a carrier bag to any of the following donation points as soon as possible (please be mindful these venues are not always open so you may need to leave your donation outside) thank you so much 🙏🏻
