This will help to keep queuing to a minimum. 🎃We have over 15 different pumpkins and squash varieties this year which we hope that you will all enjoy picking, carving, creating or cooking with! Our biggest and best ever pumpkin patch fully stocked with over 20 varieties of pumpkin and squash: there's plenty of space for social distancing. We're going to town with the decoration this year and creating some fantastic photo opportunities to capture that perfect family photo! We'll be posting pictures before we open on the 1st October so watch this space! In the meantime click HERE to book your visit and purchase a voucher for £2 per person (voucher value will be deducted at till , booking fee applies). We are limiting the amount of slots available at the moment but we will add more as we go so keep checking back. In light of the recent Government guidance we have suspended table bookings for October and will be offering a takeaway service only. All our usual offerings will be available. If you wish to get lost in our Maize Maze (more details below) you can purchase tickets on arrival. 🎃 Halloween themed Maize Maze - Two mazes for the price of one with our Tooth Scary mini maze and Ghost Town main maze! As always we'll throw in a few cheesy jokes just for good measure. There's a sweet reward for everyone completing the maze and a chance to enter our prize draw . £3.50 per person or £3 per person for families of four or more. Children 2 years and under are free. The maze opens at 10am with last entrance at 3pm. 🎃 Halloween colouring and crafts will be available to purchase to take home, Prices from only £1.95 🎃 Farm shop - Stock up for Halloween with our pumpkin carving kits, candles, trick or treat bags, novelty items and scary decorations. Treat yourself to one of our spooky cookies or a good old fashioned toffee apple. 🎃 Takeaway Only through October. Alongside our usual selection of breakfasts, lunches and cakes we'll also have some autumnal specials including pumpkin lattes, mulled apple juice and butternut squash soup. Open daily from 9am to 4pm. At weekends and during half term we'll be firing up the BBQ and Pizza Oven.

Autumn Fun on the Farm - October 10th - 23rd 10.00 - 5.00 Head down and join us for Autumn on the farm! Starting this weekend October 10th and running every day until October 23rd you can book yourself a visit to come and see all of our farm animals and birds of prey. The farm is home to over 200 birds of prey plus many farm animals including alpacas, goats, ponies, sheep, highland cows, donkeys and many more. Our play areas are open, each family will receive a bag of animal feed to feed our farm animals PLUS visit our pumpkin patch and choose your own pumpkin. Each paying child gets one FREE pumpkin included in their visit. Additional pumpkins for adults and children under 2's are available at an additional cost. A community zoo based in the historic Cedars park in Waltham cross Hertfordshire. The zoo gives visitors the opportunity to get up close to Meerkats, Owls, skunks, small bird species, rabbits, Armadillos and various reptiles and minibeasts. New covid measures mean tickets are for 45 min intervals, please arrive on the hour you are booked for. 🎃This year you will have to book a timeslot to pick your own pumpkins. Entry is £0.50 per person (excluding babes in arms) which allows you access to our Pumpkin Patch. 🎃When you visit you will also be able to carve your own pumpkin which includes a small or medium pumpkin (£4.50) and allows you leave us to sort out the mess - this can be purchased online as an extra with your entry or you can decide to do it on the day (purchase made at PYO Pumpkin Patch). We ask that you try to complete your carving within your 60 minute time slot. 🎃You can also take part in our Halloween Hunt activity (£3.50) which includes an activity sheet, pencil and chocolate treat (DF option available). This can be purchased online as an extra with your entry or you can decide to do it on the day (purchase made at farm shop). This can be done at any time on the day of purchase and does not require entry to the PYO Pumpkin patch should you not like pumpkins! 🎃During your visit the farm shop will be open for all your spooky treats, the bee shed will be serving breakfast, lunch (booking recommended), delicious coffee and homemade cakes. We are also celebrating all things apples for national apple day (See Apple Day Page) which means our PYO Apple Orchard is open to all and we will be running apple and apple juice tasting sessions (booking required).

A community zoo based in the historic Cedars park in Waltham cross Hertfordshire. The zoo gives visitors the opportunity to get up close to Meerkats, Owls, skunks, small bird species, rabbits, Armadillos and various reptiles and minibeasts. New covid measures mean tickets are for 45 min intervals, please arrive on the hour you are booked for. Each interval will have an animal talk take place (weather permitting), please note that as per government guidelines no animal handling will take place. ​ Tickets are limited Set inside the grounds of Cedars park, paths are buggy, wheelchair, bike and scooter accessible. Food is made from fresh ingredients every day so the menu may vary slightly and will include dishes such as hog roast, Celtic broth, snacks and hot drinks with vegan and gluten free options. Work as a family (up to 6) in your own designated outdoor space to design and create your own pumpkin masterpiece. 1 pumpkin will be included with your table, additional pumpkins are available to purchase at the time of booking. You are welcome to spend up to an hour perfecting your creation using the tools we provide, and we will even take care of the clearing up! This activity is designed for families to take part together, younger children do find pumpkin carving a challenge so they may need to direct a stronger pair of hands. Children must be accompanied by an adult (minimum one per two children). Please come suitably dressed for the weather as we will be outside for the whole session.
