Chiltern Open Air Museum
Journey through time from the Iron Age to the 20th Century and discover how people lived and work at this immersive open air museum.
Step into the past with over 30 rescued historic buildings from around the Chilterns, a traditional farm and over 40 acres of gardens and woodlands to explore.
Open on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. Also open everyday during Buckinghamshire school holidays.
Perfect for a family day out. There is free parking. A café, baby changing facilities and adventure playground are in the Museum grounds and there are accessible pathways suitable for buggies. Sensory backpacks and mobility scooters are also available to borrow.
The Museum hosts vintage, community and living history events throughout the year, along with regular heritage craft demonstrations and Terrific Tuesday family activity days in school holidays. For more information please visit www.coam.org.uk
