Heath Mount School, just outside Hertford, is excited to offer FREE forest fun sessions to local families every Monday morning in term time, 9.30-10.30am.
Ages: 1–4 years.
Parents, grandparents and carers are warmly invited to join us in our magical woodland setting every Monday with their little ones.
Led by our experienced Forest School leader, Ranger Becky, it's a chance for you and your child to engage with nature together and grow their sense of wonder and curiosity. Every session will involve the chance to make something together as well as explore, play and socialise with other families. Coffee & tea will also be provided. Sample activities below:
Singing & stories around the campfire
Bug hunts galore
Nature-based arts and crafts
Sensory trails
Imaginative play in the Fairy Dell
'Cooking' fun in the mud kitchen
Be prepared: To fully enjoy the woodland setting, please ensure you have wellies, waterproofs and warm layers.
