My name is Alison and I have an accredited BACP (Hons) Counselling degree from the University of East London. I am an Integrative practitioner which means I am trained in different theoretical approaches, which I can tailor to your specific needs. I have a relaxed approach and encourage you to be yourself. I have extensive experience working specifically with clients who are experiencing difficulties connected with pregnancy, pregnancy loss, fertility treatments, infertility, involuntary childlessness and early years parenting and related issues. Through this work I have had many hours of training which is supplementary to my counselling degree which includes Trauma, IVF, Polycystic ovary syndrome, Miscarriage, Baby loss and the work of SANDS, Grief and Bereavement and Birth trauma.
For those who have or are experiencing any of these difficulties I understand how isolating and intolerabe they can be and the pressures subsequently placed on relationships. With my support you will be able to have a safe and non-judgmetal space for exploration of your feelings and emotions.
