Hertford Town Council COVID-19 Update
 
Hertford Town Council is continuing to run its services as much as possible. The preferred method of contact with the Council at this time is via the telephone or e-mail.
 
The following changes are being made to respond to Covid-19. 
 
Hertford Town and Tourist Information Centre Following Government guidelines, Hertford Town Council have closed the Town and Tourist Information Centre with immediate effect. The Town and Tourist Information Centre staff will be operating solely via telephone on 01992 552885 and email [email protected] between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday – Thursday and 9am – 4.30pm on Fridays.
 
Castle Events The following events scheduled to take place at Hertford Castle are cancelled;
 
• 75th Anniversary of VE Day – Friday 8th May • Cars at the Castle – Sunday 24th May • Hertford Castle Fun Day – Sunday 7th June • Hertford Castle Open Air Theatre – Sunday 21st June • Hertford Castle Teddy Bears’ Picnic – Sunday 19th July
 
Tickets will be refunded to those who have purchased tickets to the Hertford Castle Open Air Theatre and customers will be contacted directly.
 
Other Events & Initiatives The following events have also been cancelled for their scheduled dates, however we hope that they will take place later in the year.
 
• Hertford Arts Trail • Town Centre Easter Trail – Noah’s Ark Theme • Love Hertford Awards
